What is The Data Observatory?

An Observatory is defined as "a room or building housing an astronomical telescope or other scientific equipment for the study of natural phenomena."

Here at The Data Observatory, we are a newsletter observing and studying the natural phenomena of Alternative Data. We will discuss various topics about the Alt Data industry, its trajectory, innovations, and hear from industry experts and thought leaders. We will also attempt to educate those new to the Alternative Data space, provide some context, and help expand everyone's understanding of the industry. And occasionally, we will also do deep dives into alternative data analysis.

We are an alternative data and technology company on a mission to help democratize data insights by unlocking valuable data sets and increasing data literacy. We are one of the largest providers of Alternative Data, and we are also on a quest to increase the consumption of alt data through technology.
